Corinne B. Kahn concentrates her practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate Law.
Corinne was born in New York, New York in 1953. She attended New York University (B.A., 1974); Hofstra University (J.D., 1977) and Rutgers University (M.B.A., 1978). She has also earned the CLU and ChFC designations.
In November of 1996, Corinne's article entitled, "Life Insurance: The Missing Piece of the Puzzle?" appeared in Probate and Property, the prestigious publication of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. In February of 1992, Corinne chaired and co-authored the book, Planned Giving Council of Broward County Aid to Local Philanthropy Directory of Charities and Charitable Gifts in conjunction with the Broward County Planned Giving Council. In May of 1990, Trusts and Estates magazine published an article written by Corinne entitled "Avoiding Adverse Income Tax Consequences of Life Insurance". She co-authored the book, The Life Insurance Primer for the American Bar Association. Her articles entitled "Irrevocable Trusts and Life Insurance," "The Charitable Retirement Benefit Plan," "Charitable Gifts of Life Insurance" and "Insurance Planning Strategies Before and After Divorce" appeared in Leaders Magazine.
Corinne is active in charitable and professional organizations including the American Bar Association (Member: Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, past Vice Chair of the Retirement and Old Age Planning Committee), The Florida Bar (Member: Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, Lawyers Relations with Certified Public Accountants Committee), United Hearing and Deaf Services, International Association for Financial Planning (Distinguished Service Award 1987-1988), the Planned Giving Council, and the Society Financial Service Professionals (Past-President; Distinguished Service Award 1990). In 1982, she was named Outstanding Woman of the Year. She has been featured in numerous Who's Who publications.
Corinne has three children and resides in Palm Beach, Florida. |
